Ric and De’Dee were born and raised in Northern Nevada.  Ric has over 37 years of service in the Army the last 28 years as a Chaplain.  Ric and De’Dee were high school sweethearts and have been married for over 35 years.   Ric and De’Dee have been involved in ministry for over 30 years.  Ric earned his BS from Bethany College of the Assemblies of God and his Masters of Divinity from Assemblies of God Theological Seminary.  

They have 10 daughters, Cherish, Rhonda, Jeanine, Tanya, Mandy, Christina, Lisa, Natasha, Heather, and Savanna. 

Ric and De’Dee are excited to be on the team at Church at Briargate.  They have a passion to serve the church body and see men and women come to know Christ.

Pastors Josh and Liz have been married since 2012. They have two kids, Sawyer and Charlotte, and a dog named Chase. They have been pastoring the youth at Church at Briargate since 2013. They both have a passion for teenagers. This includes getting them on life-changing trips like Youth Camp and Mission Trips. Both Josh and Liz have been on multiple mission trips, including India, Peru, Moldova, Mexico, El Salvador, and Haiti. 

Josh is a visionary - he sees the big picture and what can happen. Liz is detail-driven - she tries to fit all the pieces together and lay out a plan. Josh and Liz both know that "teamwork makes the dream work," meaning it takes a team to get things done. They value their leadership team for all that they do. Together with their amazing team, they work hard to see students come to know Jesus in Colorado Springs. Their goal is to create a community and a family atmosphere among the students of The Movement, being a safe place for students to belong and be open. When students are on fire for God, it will overflow out of their lives, compelling them to share their faith story with their friends.

Emily was born and raised in Colorado. She grew up in a pastor's home where she learned first hand what ministry looked like. In her teen years, she felt a call to ministry and followed that calling by attending Southwestern Assemblies of God University where she majored in Church Leadership with a focus on Children and Family Ministries. She has a giant heart for kids and a love for God's Kingdom. 

Paul and Carrie have been married for 24 years. Paul serves on the board and is passionate about serving the Deaf Community through his work at Church at Briargate.  Carrie serves on the Women's Ministries team and helps in the Children's Ministry when needed.  Their oldest son is in college and the younger two of their children participate in Youth, Royal Rangers and help serve in Children's Ministries and work projects

Shelby and her husband, Marcus, have 4 children, Brooke, Shea, Max and Isabelle. Shelby graduated from Bible college and has been serving in ministry for the last 24 years. She is passionate about God’s Word and teaches two weekly Bible studies. She also served as a Worship Pastor for 17 years. Shelby still enjoys leading worship at conferences and special events. 

We recently had our great and seasonal Worship Pastor step down due to new opportunities. We are really excited to see where God leads him and his family. 

Furthermore, we are looking for a new Worship Pastor, Church at Briargate is growing quickly and we need someone to take over the entire worship and media department. We have had great worship pastors in the past who have built a good foundation,

Richard and his wife Angie have been happily married for 2 years. Richard is following his call to ministries while attending UCCS for his Psychology Degree. Angie currently works at FOCUS on the family and is expecting this upcoming August.
